Lately, I’ve been really working (along with my wonderful husband) to become more disciplined. I don’t know about you, but I find it way too easy to forget to do things like pray or work out. Okay, I’ll be honest, I don’t forget to work out as much as I… choose to eat chocolate chip muffins instead.
I’ve turned a corner though and when I finally said enough is enough, I made a checklist for myself of all the things I think are important to do every day. If you sign up for my email list, you can have your very own checklist! I know, I know. I am very generous. No need to thank me.
All the stuff I put on the checklist is important, even the part where you’re supposed to do something you love. We as Christians need to make sure we are taking care of our whole self, not just parts of it. I’ve written a whole post about it that you can read here.
As a part of my email club, I’ll send out weekly suggestions for ways to make sure those boxes are getting filled (recipes, devotionals, prayer focuses, a bunch of cool stuff)
